Water Rate Advisory Committee

The Kennewick Irrigation District (KID) Board of Directors created the Water Rate Advisory Committee through a unanimous resolution. The resolution established a five member committee requiring that membership on the committee represent a diverse array of water users and not be tilted toward any one type of water user (e.g. urban, rural or farm). Committee Members must be KID water users and be available to commit to at least a 2-year term.

The main function of the Committee is to serve as an advisory body to the Board of Directors relative to the District financing and setting of rates and assessments of the KID.
