Customer Service

Contact with the Kennewick Irrigation District is usually through the Customer Service department. When things break, assessments come due or answers are needed, the call or e-mail goes to one of the KID’s professional communicators.

Customer Service staff members are available during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM during the winter, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM during the summer) at 586-9111 or via e-mail at customerservice@kid.org.

Calls come in two flavors: emergency and non-emergency. Emergencies consist of situations that require immediate attention: flooding or canal/pipe breaks, for instance. Non-emergencies-such as low water pressure-are everything that can wait till the business office opens.

Though the Customer Service department closes at 5:00 PM during the watering season, an answering service is available after hours to pass emergency calls along to the field crew for response.
